In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Jagdish Dewda of BJP won in this seat defeating Parshuram Sisodiya of INC by a margin of 11,872 which was 6.07% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 51.03% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Jagdish Dewra of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Shyamlal Jokchand of INC by a margin of 6,571 votes which was 3.69% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 48.73% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Jagdish Devda of BJP won this seat beating Shyam Lal Jok Chandra of INC by a margin of 3,688 votes which was 2.61% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 46.82% in the seat.
