In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Neeraj Vinod Dixit of INC won in this seat defeating Manavendra Singh of BJP by a margin of 14,005 which was 9.75% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 36.53% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Manvendra Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Aapke Rakesh Pathak of BSP by a margin of 15,721 votes which was 12.39% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 36.1% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Bhanwar Raja Manavendra Singh of IND won this seat beating Guddan Pathak (Pushpendra Nath) of BJP by a margin of 1,391 votes which was 1.35% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 18.78% in the seat.
