In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Birendra Raghuvanshi of BJP won in this seat defeating Mahendra Ramsingh Yadav of INC by a margin of 720 which was 0.42% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 42.11% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Ram Singh Yadav of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Devendra Kumar Jain Patte Wale of BJP by a margin of 24,953 votes which was 15.49% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 45.91% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Devendra Kumar Jain (Patte Wale) of BJP won this seat beating Ram Singh of INC by a margin of 238 votes which was 0.21% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 27.52% in the seat.
