In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Priyavrat Singh of INC won in this seat defeating Hajarilal Dangi of BJP by a margin of 29,756 which was 16.47% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 56.38% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Kunwar Hajarilal Dangi of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Priyavrat Singh of INC by a margin of 11,479 votes which was 7.08% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.03% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Priyavrat Singh of INC won this seat beating Jagannath Singh of BJP by a margin of 13,627 votes which was 10% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 40.3% in the seat.
