In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Aashish Govind Sharma of BJP won in this seat defeating Om Patel of INC by a margin of 7,772 which was 4.51% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 41.77% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Aashish Govind Sharma of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Shyam Holani of INC by a margin of 21,717 votes which was 14.68% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 54.06% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Brijmohan Dhoot (Kakaji) of BJP won this seat beating Agnihotree Rajkumari Kailash Kundal of INC by a margin of 3,657 votes which was 3.5% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 46.41% in the seat.
