In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Rahul Singh Lodhi of BJP won in this seat defeating Chanda-Surendra Singh Gour of INC by a margin of 11,665 which was 7.3% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 39.49% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Chanda - Surendra Singh Gaur of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Rahul Singh Lodhi of BJP by a margin of 5,677 votes which was 4.02% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 42.32% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Ajay Yadav of BJSH won this seat beating Surendra Singh Gour ( Dadda) of BSP by a margin of 1,006 votes which was 0.94% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 22.33% in the seat.
