In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Tamlal Raghuji Sahare of INC won in this seat defeating K D Deshmukh of BJP by a margin of 11,750 which was 7.68% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 45.74% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, K D Deshmukh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Udaysingh Pancheshwar Guruji of BSP by a margin of 19,950 votes which was 14.18% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 40.69% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Vishweshwar Bhagat of INC won this seat beating K D Deshmukh of BJP by a margin of 2,411 votes which was 1.98% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 32.54% in the seat.
