In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Kunal Choudhary of INC won in this seat defeating Babulal Verma of BJP by a margin of 13,699 which was 8.28% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 52.1% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Indersingh Parmar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Kedarsingh Mandloi of INC by a margin of 9,573 votes which was 6.44% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.68% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Babulal Verma of BJP won this seat beating Saroj Manoharsingh of INC by a margin of 13,232 votes which was 11.04% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 49.81% in the seat.
