In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Kalawati Bhuriya of INC won in this seat defeating Madhosingh Dawar of BJP by a margin of 2,056 which was 1.5% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 33.53% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Madhosingh Dawar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Vishal Rawat of INC by a margin of 11,051 votes which was 9.3% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 38.54% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Suluchana Rawat of INC won this seat beating Dawar Madho Singh of BJP by a margin of 4,560 votes which was 5.73% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 44.54% in the seat.
