In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Gumansingh Damor of BJP won in this seat defeating Dr Vikrant Bhuriya of INC by a margin of 10,437 which was 5.93% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 37.81% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Shantilal Bilwal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Jeviyar Meda of INC by a margin of 15,858 votes which was 11.71% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 41.79% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Jewier Meda of INC won this seat beating Pavesingh Kalsingh Pargi of BJP by a margin of 18,751 votes which was 20.13% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.99% in the seat.
