In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi of BJP won in this seat defeating Pratap Singh of INC by a margin of 3,485 which was 2.07% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 29.05% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Pratap Singh of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Dashrath Singh Lodhi Dassu Bhaiya of BJP by a margin of 11,896 votes which was 7.94% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 45.71% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Ratnesh Saloman of INC won this seat beating Dashrath Singh Lodhi (Dassu Bhaiya) of BJP by a margin of 1,762 votes which was 1.45% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 34.04% in the seat.
