In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Mahendra Hardia of BJP won in this seat defeating Satyanarayan Patel of INC by a margin of 1,133 which was 0.46% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 48.3% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Mahendra Hardia of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Pankaj Sanghvi of INC by a margin of 14,418 votes which was 6.96% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.22% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Mahendra Hardiya of BJP won this seat beating Shobha Oza of INC by a margin of 5,264 votes which was 4.16% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 49.35% in the seat.
