In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Kamal Patel of BJP won in this seat defeating Dr Ramkishore Dogne of INC by a margin of 6,667 which was 3.81% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 49% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, R K Dogne of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Kamal Patel of BJP by a margin of 4,651 votes which was 3% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 48.19% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Kamal Patel of BJP won this seat beating Hemant Tale of INC by a margin of 8,863 votes which was 7.92% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 40.31% in the seat.
