In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Krishna Gaur of BJP won in this seat defeating Girish Sharma of INC by a margin of 46,359 which was 21.43% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 58% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Baboolal Gour of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Govind Goyal of INC by a margin of 70,644 votes which was 38.99% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 64.34% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Babulal Gaur of BJP won this seat beating Vibha Patel of INC by a margin of 33,754 votes which was 28.98% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 53.88% in the seat.
