In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Devilal Dhakad (Advocate) of BJP won in this seat defeating Subhash Kumar Sojatia of INC by a margin of 2,108 which was 1.16% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 41.93% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Rajesh Yadav Dharmveer Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Subhash Kumar Sojatia of INC by a margin of 25,755 votes which was 15.82% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 54.37% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Subhash Kumar Sojatia of INC won this seat beating Rajesh Yadav Dharm Veer Singh of BJP by a margin of 17,772 votes which was 13.52% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 52.04% in the seat.
