In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Panchilal Meda of INC won in this seat defeating Gopal Kannoj of BJP by a margin of 13,972 which was 9.02% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 50.65% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Kalusingh Thakur of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Pachilal Meda of INC by a margin of 7,573 votes which was 5.74% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 49.3% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Panchilal Meda of INC won this seat beating Jagdish Muvel of BJP by a margin of 6,654 votes which was 7.09% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 46.55% in the seat.
