In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Jhuma Dr Dhyansingh Solanki of INC won in this seat defeating Dhool Singh Dawar of BJP by a margin of 27,257 which was 16.48% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 55.39% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Jhuma Solanki of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Nanda Brahamne of BJP by a margin of 2,399 votes which was 1.58% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 47.39% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Dhool Singh Dawar of BJP won this seat beating Sangeeta Sildar Patel of INC by a margin of 14,151 votes which was 14.71% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 49.07% in the seat.
