In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Sanjay Yadav 'Seoni Tola' of INC won in this seat defeating Pratibha Singh of BJP by a margin of 17,563 which was 10.13% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 50.13% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Pratibha Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Thakur Sobran Singh (Babuji) of INC by a margin of 7,399 votes which was 4.98% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 46.48% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Pratibha Singh of BJP won this seat beating Mangi Lal Maravi of INC by a margin of 17,602 votes which was 15.42% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 38.66% in the seat.
