In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Murli Morwal of INC won in this seat defeating Sanjay Sharma of BJP by a margin of 5,381 which was 3.46% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 49.39% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Mukesh Pandya of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Mahesh Patel of INC by a margin of 13,135 votes which was 9.84% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 43.97% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Shantilal Dhabai of BJP won this seat beating Murli Morwal of INC by a margin of 6,070 votes which was 5.5% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 34.98% in the seat.
