In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Arvind Singh Bhadoria of BJP won in this seat defeating Hemant Satyadev Katare of INC by a margin of 4,978 which was 3.67% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 43.45% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Satyadev Katare of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Arvind Singh Bhadoriya of BJP by a margin of 11,426 votes which was 10.1% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 40.29% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Arvind Singh Bhadouria of BJP won this seat beating Satyadev Katare of INC by a margin of 1,851 votes which was 1.81% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 32.92% in the seat.
