In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Dr Yogesh Pandagre of BJP won in this seat defeating Manoj Malve of INC by a margin of 19,197 which was 12.07% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 46.22% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Chaitram Manekar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Bele Sunita of INC by a margin of 39,602 votes which was 28.14% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 55.38% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Chaitram Manekar of BJP won this seat beating Kishore Barde of INC by a margin of 30,546 votes which was 29.99% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 50.92% in the seat.
