In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Ramkhelawan Patel of BJP won in this seat defeating Dr Rajendra Kumar Singh; 'Dada Bhai' of INC by a margin of 3,747 which was 2.24% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 35.78% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Rajendra Kumar Singh Dadabhai of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Ramkhelawan Patel of BJP by a margin of 11,739 votes which was 7.9% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 32.53% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Ramkhelawan Patel of BJP won this seat beating Dr Rajendra Kuamr Singh of INC by a margin of 4,701 votes which was 3.94% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 34.44% in the seat.
