Trikaripur Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Kasaragod district in the Malabar region of Kerala: Cheruvathur, East Eleri, Kayyur-Cheemeni, Nileshwar, Padne, Pilicode, Trikaripur, Valiyaparamba and West Eleri Panchayats in Hosdurg Taluk.
This constituency covers an approximate area of 330 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Trikaripur is: 12°15'27.7"N 75°15'03.2"E.

Victory margin
In the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, M Rajagopalan of CPIM won in this constituency beating M P Joseph of KEC by a margin of 26137 votes which was 16.35% of the total votes cast. In 2016, M.Rajagopalan of CPIM was the winner in this seat beating K P Kunhikannan of INC by a margin of 16959 votes which was 10.89% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, K Kunhiraman of CPIM won this seat defeating K.V.Gangadharan of INC by a margin of 8765 votes which was 6.45% of the total votes polled for the seat.
