    There were a total of 3,25,038 registered voters on the electoral rolls for the 2024 Assembly election in Bermo Assembly constituency, of which 1,65,851 were male, 1,59,186 female and 1 of the third gender. In the 2019 Assembly elections, there were a total of 3,11,390 registered voters, of which 1,63,929 were male, 1,47,460 female and 1 from the third gender. In 2014 elections, there were a total of 2,86,264 registered voters in this constituency, of which 1,53,162 were male and 1,33,100 female.     Assembly constituency no.35. Bermo comprises of the following areas of Bokaro district in the North Jharkhand region of Jharkhand: Jaridih and Bermo police stations and Gram Panchayats Champi, Rohar, Chando, Pichhri, Angwali and Chalkari in Petarbar police station in Bermo sub-division.

    This constituency covers an approximate area of 487.06 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 23°41'10.7"N 85°59'43.8"E.

    A total of five Assembly constituencies in the state of Jharkhand share borders with Bermo constituency, which are: Dumri, Baghmara, Bokaro, Gomia, Mandu. This constituency shares an inter-state border with Purulia district of West Bengal.

    In the 2019 Jharkhand Assembly elections, Rajendra Pd Singh of INC won in this constituency beating Yogeshwar Mahto of BJP by a margin of 25,172 votes which was 13.27% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Yogeshwar Mahto of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Rajendra Prasad Singh of INC by a margin of 12,613 votes which was 6.74% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Rajendra Prasad Singh of INC won this seat defeating Yogeshwar Mahto of BJP by a margin of 6,611 votes which was 4.71% of the total votes polled for the seat.
