In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Parmod Kumar Vij of BJP won in this constituency beating Sanjay Aggarwal of INC by a margin of 39,545 votes which was 32.33% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Rohita Rewri of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Virender Kumar Shah of INC by a margin of 53,721 votes which was 38.51% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Balbir Pal Shah of INC won this seat defeating Sanjay Bhatia of BJP by a margin of 12,159 votes which was 12.87% of the total votes polled for the seat.
