In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Laxman Singh Yadav of BJP won in this constituency beating Yaduvender Singh of INC by a margin of 38,624 votes which was 25.69% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Bikram Singh Thekedar of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Jagdish Yadav of INLD by a margin of 10,767 votes which was 6.69% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Yaduvender Singh of INC won this seat defeating Jagdish Yadav of IND by a margin of 3,423 votes which was 2.68% of the total votes polled for the seat.
