In 2015, Amanatullah Khan of AAP was the winner in this seat beating Braham Singh of BJP by a margin of 64,532 votes which was 38.72% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In 2013, Asif Mohd Khan of INC was the winner in this seat beating Irfanullah Khan of AAP by a margin of 26,545 votes which was 19.29% of the total votes polled in the constituency.
