There were a total of 2,16,404 registered voters on the electoral rolls for the 2025 Assembly election in Mehrauli Assembly constituency, of which 1,18,855 were male, 97,536 female and 13 of the third gender. In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, Naresh Yadav of AAP won in this constituency beating Kusum Khatri of BJP by a margin of 18,161 votes which was 15.79% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Naresh Yadav of AAP was the winner in this seat beating Sarita Chaudhary of BJP by a margin of 16,951 votes which was 14.89% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In 2013, Parvesh Sahib Singh of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Narinder Singh Sejwal of AAP by a margin of 4,564 votes which was 4.72% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2008 Assembly elections, Dr Yoganand Shastri of INC won this seat defeating Sher Singh Dagar of BJP by a margin of 1,108 votes which was 1.67% of the total votes polled for the seat.
