    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Vibha Devi of RJD won in this constituency beating Sharwan Kumar S/O-Deva Mahto of IND by a margin of 26310 votes which was 14.55% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Rajballabh Prasad of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Indradeo Prasad of BLSP by a margin of 16726 votes which was 9.5% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Purnima Yadav of JDU won this seat defeating Rajballabh Prasad of RJD by a margin of 6337 votes which was 5.32% of the total votes polled for the seat.
