In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Tarin Dakpe of NPEP won in this constituency beating Nido Pavitra of PPA by a margin of 166 votes which was 1.28% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Tamar Murtem of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Nido Pavitra of INC by a margin of 21 votes which was 0.16% of the total votes polled in the constituency.
