In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Tirong Aboh of NPEP won in this constituency beating Phawang Lowang of BJP by a margin of 1,055 votes which was 10.88% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Tirong Aboh of PPA was the winner in this seat beating Yumsem Matey of INC by a margin of 1,908 votes which was 22.07% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Yumsem Matey of INC won this seat defeating Thajam Aboh of TMC by a margin of 468 votes which was 5.96% of the total votes polled for the seat.
