In 2014, Tatung Jamoh of INC was the winner in this seat beating Tangor Tapak of BJP by a margin of 834 votes which was 7.96% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Dr Tangor Tapak of BJP won this seat defeating Omak Apang of INC by a margin of 661 votes which was 6.36% of the total votes polled for the seat.

In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Ninong Ering of INC had a vote share of 43.02% in this seat. In 2014, Tatung Jamoh of INC secured a vote share of 53.35% in this constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Dr Tangor Tapak of BJP got a vote share of 53.18% in Pasighat West.
