In 2014, Tirong Aboh of PPA was the winner in this seat beating Yumsem Matey of INC by a margin of 1,908 votes which was 22.07% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Yumsem Matey of INC won this seat defeating Thajam Aboh of TMC by a margin of 468 votes which was 5.96% of the total votes polled for the seat.
