In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Wanglam Sawin of BJP won in this constituency beating Danhang Phuksa of NPEP by a margin of 3,381 votes which was 45.29% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Wanglam Sawin of PPA was the winner in this seat beating T L Rajkumar of BJP by a margin of 877 votes which was 11.73% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Kamthok Lowang of TMC won this seat defeating T L Rajkumar of INC by a margin of 455 votes which was 5.94% of the total votes polled for the seat.
